Tirupati Smart City Corporation Ltd is planning to set up a 6.0 MW solar power plant in the city. The company has invited Request for Proposal (RfP) for 6 MW of grid-connected solar projects. The scope of work involves supply, design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of the 6.0 MW solar project.
The successful bidder will also provide operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 10 years.
Recently, the Greater Chennai Corporation also planned to install solar panels on 662 of its buildings under Smart City Program.
