ESIC is planning to set up a 100 bed 100-bed hospital at Gajularega in Vizianagaram district in Andhra Pradesh. In December 2019, the foundation stone is laid for the project. The hospital cost is estimated at ₹ 75.26 crore and will come up in an area of five acres. The hospital will be equipped with all modern medical facilities like OPD, labs and other emergency facilities.
The hospital will help the neighboring industrial districts of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram where there are an estimated 3.88 lakh beneficiaries.
