Kakinada SEZ is planning to set up a greenfield commercial port in Kona village in Kakinada in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The company has signed an agreement with the state government through its associate Kakinada Gateway Port Ltd. The new port will be built on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis. The port will be developed in an area of approximately 1,811 acres owned by KSEZ.
