Saint Gobain is planning to setup a new manufacturing facility in Atchutapuram SEZ in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The company will invest ₹ 20,000 million towards the project. It has been allotted around 180 acres of land at a cost of ₹ 6.0 million per acre. The new manufacturing facility will produce mirrors. It will also produce plasterboard, gypsum and other types of glass. The total capacity is slated at 11 lakh metric tonnes per year.
