Linde India has set up a food lab and training centre in Mangalagiri/ Amaravati near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh India. The lab is a technology demonstrator lab that showcases the latest cryogenic food-freezing and chilling solutions that can help a range of agriculture and its related businesses in Andhra Pradesh and neighbouring States. It will help a shrimp farmer, a mango grower, a sea-food exporter or even a vegetables grower. The company has established its latest tunnel freezer, Cryoline, modified atmospheric packaging solutions, at the facility. The food lab will help customers set trials and test new freezing and chilling technologies. Additionally, a skill development centre has been launched to help train operators, food processors and farmers.
