Hindupur Steels & Alloys to expand its steel unit in Gollapuram

Hindupur Steels & Alloys Pvt Ltd is planning to expand its steel unit in Gollapuram in Hindupur Mandal in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of 1 x 15 MT induction furnace (45000 mtpa) and a TMT Bars rolling mill unit with a capacity of 200000 mtpa. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 400 million. The sponge iron will be fed to Induction furnace to make ingots / billets which will be
casted in rolling form of steel i.e. TMT bars / Structural Steel.
