IOC plans expansion programme at Parwada LPG facility

Indian Oil Corp is planning to expand its liquefied petroleum gas storage facility in Parwada in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves expanding its capacity from 1800 mt to 3600 mt which involves construction of 3 x 600 mt mounded bullets. This capacity
enhancement will ensure approximately 9 days cover on a stand-alone basis against total bulk LPG storage capacity of 3600 MT.

The project cost is estimated at ₹ 250 million and is likely to go operational by 27 months from zero date.
