Pidilite Industries is planning an adhesive manufacturing unit in APSEZ in Visakhapatinam district of Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce 0.1 million tpa of adhesives with an investment of ₹ 2,150 million.
The company has signed an MoU with the state government during CII Partnership Summit 2018. Land required for the project is around 4.74 acres which has been already alloted. As of January 2019, the project is under implementation and expected to go operational by March 2020.
