Kribhco is planning to set up a phosphoric and potassium plant in Survepalli in Venkatachalem Mandal neaer Krishnapatnam Port in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. The state government has already allotted land for the project and the new unit will have a capacity of 0.6 million tpa. A techno-economic feasibility report for the project has already been prepared. The companies have purchased 288 acre of land for this project. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 15170 million. The new plant will produce DAP equivalent (2 x 1650 MT) and it will deploy Mixed (PN+PR) Process.
In October 2016, the company has tied up with OCP a 50:50 joint venture with Moroccan company OCP’s to produce NPK fertilizers to implement the project. The project cost is estimated at Rs. USD 230 million
