Indian Oil Corp is planning to set up Solapur-Ahmednagar-Hyderabad pipeline to connect the east coast and west coast. Currently, its Koyali refinery and Paradip refinery products are transported by road for interconnectivity. The combined capacity of the two refineries is 28.7 million tonnes. The pipeline will connect Koyali to Hyderabad -Paradeep pipeline. The total project investment is estimated at ₹ 10,000 million.
Reconnaissance survey for the pipeline from Solapur to Hyderabad has been completed. The length will be about 376 km and traverse through Gulbarga district of Karnataka.
