Andhra Pradesh government plans 30 skill development centres

Andhra Pradesh government is planning to develop 30 skill development centres across the state. The first one is to be set up in Visakhapatnam will be focusing on IT skills. The financial closure for the project is expected to be completed in 45 days and the centre will go operational within a year.

The skill development centres (SDC) will also have central monitoring system to review the progress of candidates. Four centres will be set up in collaboration with the four IIITs and one centre will be attached to Pulivendula JNTU. After witnessing the performance of these centres, the future expansion plans will be made.
